I’m doing a little digging to see which monitor stands out amongst the competitors in its price range. While monitoring is both very dependent on room acoustics and listener preference – I would still like to get some ideas about listener experience with the following:
Mackie HR824 MKII
Adam A7
Dynaudio BM5a
Mackie MR8
KRK VXT8
If you know of something comparable to the above, please leave a comment. I am trying to research options for my new studio monitors. I will be doing quite a bit of sound treatment and studio improvement throughout the rest of the year and any help is good help. Keep in mind that I am replacing a pair of older model M-Audio Studiophile BX5′s (not the BX5a). With the multitude of very appealing options out there, this information will prioritize my listening.
