Moving to Microsoft
After a lot of debate with myself on whether to stick with the Adobe product line, I have finally opted to implement Silverlight and Expression Web technologies on the site. This new change will require listeners to have the Silverlight plug-in to stream music on the listen page. However, the constraints I currently have with the flash player will most likely disappear, allowing me to integrate it more into the site and optimize other database interfaces easily.
I expect to make the transition in April or May. The pricing options and quality of the new Expression product line has, for my purposes, outweighed it’s counterparts at Adobe. Not to mention that Adobe’s upgrade policies are jacked – again, this is my opinion for what I use them for.
