Pre-order the Darkness and Logos today

Both “The Darkness” and “Logos” are available for pre-ordering. The albums will ship 01 April 2009, all payments are made using Paypal, one of the most trusted online payment gateways. CDs will be shipped via the National Postal service until I get the online store operational, at which point UPS, FED-EX and priority mail will be available. I also look forward to making the songs available in MP3 format.

Images of “the world beyond ours” are fairly common; fantasy literature and science fiction have taken care of providing us with metaphors of the unreal. Yet one could argue that metaphors can only reflect that which is under the confines of reality. This discussion could lead to a stand-off about creation, perception, and so on – something to which composer Travis Coats calls our attention. The Darkness – Pulled from store

The Darkness has been taken off the market, so to say. I have decided to run through it once more before releasing it along side Logos. The decision came after listening to it over and over and finally realizing that it needs a bit more mix work. It shouldn’t take long and I will have it finished by April when I plan to release Logos. No one bought the album so I don’t regret pulling it for now. More will be put out as the developments move forward. Sorry for posting info so late, I have been caught up with other matters.

Silent Ballet Review coming up

I just sent out a copy of “The Darkness” to members of Silent Ballet to be reviewed. I am anxious to see what they say and look forward to passing it on to the listener’s. Some of my associates in similar genres have had bad results, but I am confidant that even though the Darkness was released early and its production was rushed, that the music will speak for itself.

CD Finished, Release Date Set

After toiling for many months on this project, it is finally finished. All of the tracks on the “creative sound” page are the original CD bounces. I will keep the full length versions on the site until the end of the year. Then I will replace them with 25-30 second previews of each track. The Darkness will be available to order online July 21, 2008. I am happy to finally be done with this project and look forward to completing the Logos project before the end of the year.
