New Direction for Pralaya

Back in August of 2009 I announced the project entitled “Pralaya.” Since that time it has been pushed aside and moved under for other projects. I knew what I wanted from the album, but was unable to express it until now. Project Pralaya is my next big move here on the site. It will not be released as a CD, instead it will debut as a horror/mystery film showcase along with other material on my upcoming client sample DVD. As of now, all the tracks and original concept art are all about to change. The sample DVD will be discussed later, and it will be highly theme and genre based instrumentals designed to showcase my work on film and game media. More will follow.

A Few Pralaya Clips

I added a few tracks to the Pralaya set against my initial intentions. I have tried not to hype this album up as much, freeing me from stressing over the details, to allow me to focus on the music itself rather than the reception. While I still anticipate this to be released as a DVD, I have also played around with the idea of packaging it as a CD in an upcoming box collection – so to speak. Anyway, I don’t want to sit here and push words so just check it out and let me know what you think. I actually enjoy the direction of this set.

Pralaya – A Theatrical Soundtrack

Pralaya, although in a very early production phase, will be one of the most theatrical soundtrack-based albums I have presented to date. I am taking meticulous care not to let it turn into anything else. I set out to encompass some of my personal beliefs and ideals into a musical soundtrack. Pralaya Demo Available

I released Pralaya’s first demo “Shore Side” on the listener page to give you an idea of what the new album will be like. It is unlike many of my other endeavours and has a very clear and concise purpose to it. I will only be releasing this one demo until the album is complete. The only thing I can say is “welcome to my world.”

Pralaya Announced

Pralaya will become what is left of “The Eighth Sphere”, also known as False Sun. I will have the demos on the site before the release of Black and Basic in November. The album will be similar to The Darkness with very subtle shifts toward a lighter atmosphere. Many of the tracks originally planned to be released on the False Sun album are already good to go, so I expect this album to be released well before Walking with Myths. I will post more info as it comes available.
