"Their Meeting Place" is a sad little number describing an imaginary close encounter between soul mates. It fit very nicely into the theme and story behind The Darkness. It was originally written to be a piano piece, but just as "Their House in the Forest", it was soon rearranged to include more atmospheric and electronic based sound fx to match the style of the album. The melody is very simple and the chords are no more than 4/4 chord blocks that run a short gamut of tonality. The importance of this song was in its simplicity. It is a treasure to my heart and has deep meaning for me spiritually.
