  • Audio Forums Long-time gurus on this board, but there isn't half as much traffic as somewhere like studio-central.
  • Northern Sounds Talk with developers and seasoned pros in tight with the industry.
  • Electro Musician Find reviews on hardware synths, listen to music, play music, and just talk with other music lovers
  • Synthtopia Very similar to Electro Musician, but worth checking out.
  • Student Film Makers Good place to get in touch with new and upcoming film directors and producers.
  • Young Composers Talk with oother Composers and musical creative types on the nature of the craft.
  • Songwriter Forums Another place to share and discuss musical works (It's changed a bit though over the last year).
  • Music Banter Very busy forum for all kinds of genre oriented discussion.
  • Apple's Logic Forum Find answers and discussions related to Apple's Logic Sotware.
  • Cubase Forums Come and join the never-ending "love" with me at the Cubase forums. :)

  • Native Instruments Great instrument for a great price and an awesome base to start your arsenal of sound from.
  • M-Audio Good audio interfaces, but the monitors not so good. Look elsewhere for monitors.
  • MOTU Mark of the Unicorn makes and distributes a good selection of audio interfaces and software.
  • Celemony Melodyne is one of the best audio pitch shifting tools on the market - if I dare say, the best.
  • Universal Audio Pure quality plugs and hardware, the price is a little steep though.
  • Waves A lot of people trust Waves' excellent lineup of plugs, and when you break it down they are actually quite cheap.
  • East West and Quantum Leap Famous sound libraries that cover all kinds of genres and styles.
  • Yellow Tools Great line up of realistic sample libraries.
  • Sonalksis From what I've heard these audio processors run with the best of them.
  • Sweetwater Great selection at affordable prices.
  • ZZounds Love this company, and would recommend starting here when doing product research and pricing.
  • Musician's Friend No friend of mine but some people have reported good things. Not very good customer service.
  • Sample Logic Rising star in the instrument world, offering very unique and easy to use patches for Kontakt player.
  • Stillwell Audio I actually use some of these plugs with excellent results. Just goes to show that the little guy does have something to offer.
  • Sine Vibes Neat assortment of patches for varioius platforms (software and hardware).
  • Bela D Media Great vocal samples.
  • Digital Sound Factory Think soundfonts - if you use them, check this place out.
  • Guitar Center Great prices and an excellent selection.
  • Spectrasonics Big name in an ever changing industry, offering an awesome product line to meet just about need a musician, producer or composer might have!

  • Voxengo Selection of plugs mainly for Windows users, some are free and others will cost you.
  • Free Loops Just like it says.
